Using nBB2

nBB2 is an automated translation. Therefore, it does not modify in any way the original functionality of phpBB. All user documentation still applies, with only a few exceptions that are detailed below.

The users guide can be found at the phpBB site. For installation instructions however, see below. Most of the documentation from the phpBB support page also applies for nBB2. For instance, see the Flash tutorials or the knowledge base.

Binary releases are available here. For installation, follow the instructions from the included README file.

The following prerequisites are necessary to run nBB2: Java Runtime Environment 1.5+, MySQL 3/4/5 and a Java Web container (we have successfully tested it with Apache Tomcat 5.5, Caucho Resin 3.1 and Jetty 6.1).
